As a long-time Mammoth local, DeAnna has her family roots in this community. DeAnna brings more than a decade of clinical nursing experience to La Ru, with advanced training in aesthetics, surgical nursing, and facial anatomy. Her approach blends technical precision with a naturally artistic eye — a perspective shaped by her early studies in interior design. A Mammoth Lakes local for twenty years, DeAnna is passionate about supporting the wellbeing, confidence, and self-care of the community she calls home.

Dr. Pam Mundell is a board-certified dermatologist with advanced training in medical, surgical, and aesthetic skin care. Her clinical expertise includes neurotoxins, laser rejuvenation, microneedling, scar revision, and evidence-based treatments focused on subtle, natural-looking results. With experience as a military physician, residency educator, and community dermatologist, Dr. Mundell brings a high level of precision and clinical depth to La Ru’s physician-led model.

La Ru was born from love — and a little bit of dog hair.
Lola and Rex — better known as Rexy Ru — are the beloved Boston Terriers of DeAnna and her family. When Lola passed away, her memory became the foundation of something lasting. La from Lola. Ru from Rexy Ru. And just like that, a name that means something real was born.
They were the kind of companions that make every hard day easier and every good day better. It felt right to carry them forward into something meaningful — a practice built on care, connection, and showing up for the people and things you love.
